Following the cloud trend and the rollout of GDPR, the importance of where our data is hosted has grown greatly. The Swiss Hosting label provides a quality seal in keeping with the existing Swiss made tradition. The label ensures consistency and security through terms of use common to all members, thus providing the legal framework for swiss hosting. After being a member of SWISS LABEL for many years, Edificom is proud to join Swiss Hosting as a member in 2022 as a guarantee of Swiss quality from our services to our hosting.
SDEA counts Edificom among its founding members since its inception in 2019. Active in data center decarbonization initiatives, the Swiss Datacenter Efficiency Association (SDEA) has developed a unique label to certify data centers that are efficient in energy consumption and carbon emissions. Through measurements and rankings that reward the best technologies, the label contributes to the development of sustainable data centers as pillars of digitalization.
As a member of SWISS LABEL for many years, we are proud to support this organization which provides a quality label for the existing Swiss Made tradition. This allows us to stand out for the Swiss quality of our services. SWISS LABEL offers companies the possibility to put the crossbow label on their products and services, and thus make the link with Switzerland in a simple and friendly way, guaranteeing that their products and services are manufactured exclusively in Switzerland, according to defined percentages.
A few initiatives that are close to our hearts: an encouragement to soft mobility and cars to share among the team, a priority to digital and paper printing only when necessary and many others.
